Perfect reflections, unaltered 18 century mills making cuckoo clocks at high altitude on an unproductive alp. The making of the imposible real is the focus within this work.

Riffelsee is a lake above Zermatt below the Riffelhorn in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. At an elevation of 2757 m, its surface area is 0.45 ha. The lake can be reached from the Rotenboden station (2819 m) of Gornergratbahn.
