A comissioned painting for a private collector. The mountain in the painting is Piz Bernina in the Oberengadine of switzerland.

The route up Piz Bernina is called the Biancograt, otherwise know as the stair way ridge to the sky. Its one of the most famous snow aretes of the world and the highest point of the eastern alps at 4049m. The artist climbed this route in 2009.
